Which door levers will this door lever lock be compatible with?

It’s compatible with almost all door levers. However, if space between door surface and lever is less than 1.25” OR more than 3”, it won’t be compatible. Additionally, if surface behind lever has an indent or isn’t flat, it may not attach securely.

Can I lock/unlock the door lever lock with one hand?

Yes, most of our customers find they can easily engage or disengage the lock using just one hand.

Can my toddler lock me in the room with these?

Our door lever lock is specifically designed to prevent toddlers from setting the lock. Tabs need to be squeezed to rotate the arms, no matter their current position. This prevents toddlers, who can’t squeeze the tabs, from setting the lock.

Until what age will the product work to keep my child from opening the door?

As kids develop cognition & coordination, they may learn how to work the lock. Avoid operating the lock in front of them & regularly assess when it’s no longer a deterrent, as kids learn at varying ages. Most find it effective at least through age 3.

How do I remove the door lever lock when it’s no longer needed?

Use a thin but strong string (like fishing wire or floss). Place it between the lock & door surface, & slide from side-to-side in a downward motion until the lock is removed. If there’s any remaining residue, use a safe residue remover.
